Dine and Donate Benefits Companion Day Services on May 7

Culver’s to Donate 10% of Sales on Evening of May 7

by Jess Trad – On Monday, May 7th between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Culvers will be hosting a Dine to Donate event. During this time, Culvers will be donating 10% of all sales to Companion Day Services, a local organization that offers unique services to Marshfield and its surrounding areas.

“Companion Day Services doesn’t have any ongoing funding sources. As a nonprofit we do these fundraisers throughout the year to keep cost low for our clients, families and community,” said Shannon Soyk, Director of Companion Day Services.

As a part of the Tiny Tiger Intergenerational Center, Companion Day Services works to bring three generations together. CDS is an adult day care in a social setting which helps to improve the quality of life for its clients. Individual and group activities at the daycare help to stimulate the minds and spirits of those who attend. CDS works with various agencies and organizations to reach adults who are in need of their services. Clients who attend might be recovering from an injury or illness, living without assistance, or those decreasing in social and mental awareness. By providing these services, CDS also aids families by giving them much needed time for relaxation.

Companion Day Services is a nonprofit that does not have any current funding service. They rely on fundraisers like Dine to Donate in order to keep costs low for their clients and families.

Several local businesses have provided donations such as Dunkin Donuts, Melody Gardens, Forward Financial Bank, Marshfield Country Club, Sports Den, Lumberyard, V & Company, and Tammi Pernsteiner-Mary Kay.
