Marshfield Petitions For A Buffalo Wild Wings

Petition Aims to Bring Buffalo Wild Wings to Marshfield

Isaac Thompson loves to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings, and the freshman at Stratford High School isn’t alone in wishing there were a more convenient location for Marshfield area residents to get their share of Bdubs.

Thompson, along with his parents and friend Jena Weiler, has begun an online petition in the hopes of encouraging the popular restaurant franchise to open a new location in town. Thompson even has a building in mind.

“While driving past the old Hudson’s restaurant on Central Avenue, I noticed it has been vacant for years and that it would be a perfect building for it,” he said. “I came up with the idea of a petition to see how much interest there was in the area.”

The online petition will be live until November 10, 2016 at 5:00 pm, and the goal is 2,000 signatures.

“Our starting goal for signatures is 2,000 but we hope to exceed that number to show Buffalo Wild Wings the support our area would have for this kind of business,” said Thompson. Though the online petition is available at any time, the group is also providing a chance to sign in-person.

“We will be sitting October 28 from 4p.m. until 5:30 p.m. in front of Main Street Marshfield, and November 4 from 5p.m. to 8p.m. in front of the Main Street Marshfield building,” said Thompson.
