Not only can you celebrate Earth Day all over town this weekend, but there are also many other fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Art Share

Thursday | 6 pm – 8:30 pm | Chestnut Center for the Arts

Gather | Create | Collaborate – A free social event for artists, crafters, and anyone who wants to be creative. No experience is necessary. Art Share is a gathering for adult working artists, crafters, and creative beginners. Participants can bring materials and tools from home to work on a project. Don’t have anything to work on? That’s ok! We’ll provide some basic supplies to get you started on your creative journey. Learn new techniques, explore new mediums, ask for critique/feedback, share supplies, knowledge, and just in general; network, collaborate and make friendships. Art Share is FREE for our creative community, but donations are appreciated.

Money & Counting Storytime

Stories about money and counting add up to a wonderful morning with Mr. Murray!

Marshfield Tiger Booster Bash

Friday | 5:30 pm | Marshfield Ice Arena

8th Annual Booster Bash hosted by the Marshfield Tiger Booster Club. Event benefits the Marshfield High School and Middle School Athletic Programs. Cost of the event is $30 prior to April 14th. Includes: Admission, Food, and Drinks. New This Year: Axe Throwing, Live Band.

Skate Night Sponsored by MMCCU

Friday | 6:30 pm | Melody Gardens

MMCCU is sponsoring Melody Gardens Skate Night. Kids Reward Club members can skate for free. Non-members will be asked to make a $3 donation that will go towards United Way’s Nutrition on Weekends program. During the event, MMCCU will be offering fun giveaways for both youth and adults.

Record Store Day

Saturday | 8 am – 4pm | Good Day Sunshine Record Shop

First and foremost, we will have a huge selection of limited edition vinyl releases that will only be available in independent record stores on Record Store Day. These special releases include exclusive albums, singles, and reissues from a variety of artists and genres. We can’t reveal all the details just yet, but we can promise that there will be something for everyone. For those who are new to vinyl, we’ll be on hand to offer advice on everything from turntables to record cleaning techniques. We want to make sure that everyone who walks through our doors has a great experience and leaves with a newfound appreciation for the warmth and depth of sound that only vinyl can offer.

Stitches and Conversation

Saturday | 9:30 am | Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library 

An open crafting group to share needle arts (knitting, crochet, etc) and other crafts, as well as conversation. All ages and skill levels are welcome. The group can help if you are just getting started or stuck and need help on a project. Bring along your current project and supplies, whatever your craft may be.

Earth Day Celebration

Join us in Celebrating Earth Day. All ages are welcome, $5 suggested donation per class.

Bring your kiddos to Mill Creek + make a [super cute] caterpillar wildflower bomb that you can plant this spring in your yard to start a pollinator garden! This easy craft is fun + welcoming to all ages! This activity is free of charge + no reservations required!

Live Music – Tailwater Duo 

Saturday | 7 pm | Blue Heron Brew Pub

Join Nate and Isaac for a night of music that is sure to have you singing along! Stop down for a stone fired pizza, a local micro-brew, and some great music.

Movie Night

Saturday | 7 pm | Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

In celebration of Earth Day, the movie shown will be “The Lorax,” based on the book by Dr. Seuss. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. This event is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
