Parade Information – Spectator

Where should people park for the Parade?:
Central Avenue from Veteran Parkway to 14th Street will be closed beginning at 7:30 am that morning. Parking is available on any of the side streets.

What about handicap parking?:
Available in Pick’n Save’s parking lot and BMO Harris Bank

Are there restrooms?:
No, there are not porta potties along the parade route

Is food being sold/available?:
St. John’s Youth will be selling soda/water along the park route. Breakfast that morning is available at Wesley United Methodist Church and the North Wood County Historical Society will have pie and ice cream beginning at 10 am. A street vendor will be traveling the streets with trinkets. Pick ’n Save and Hiller’s often times has a brat fry’s. Also, a variety of food is available at the fairgrounds after the parade.

Parade Information – Floats

If you have a float, where should you park?:
Floats must register in the City Garage and enter off Veterans Parkway. Volunteers will be there beginning at 9 am to give instructions as to where to go in lineup. The parade ends inside the fairgrounds off Cherry Street.

If you are in a float/walking, where do you need to go?:
Everyone in the parade must register that morning. Registration takes places inside the City Garage parking lot. Enter from the West on Veterans Parkway.

Dairyfest Information – Weekend Activities

What about the rest of the weekend- where should people park?:
With the activities taking place at the fairgrounds, parking is available in the grass behind the Jer Lang Show Palace, south of 17th Street.

What restroom facilities are available?:
All restrooms are open and available at the fairgrounds.

Where is handicap parking?:
Handicap parking is available at the fairgrounds in the gravel parking lot, north of Expo Building on the East side of the Curling Club building.

Anything else people should be aware of?:
People should come prepared to walk a few blocks and dress appropriately for the weather. Activities will take place “rain or shine”, unless we have severe weather.
