Chestnut Center’s Holiday Showcase Features Madrigal Singers

Find Unique and Artistic Christmas Gifts at Annual Vendor Event

The Chestnut Center for the Art’s annual Holiday Showcase returns for another year of great gifts and holiday performances. The event will feature twenty arts and craft vendors, live music and dance, hot cider and cookies, a raffle and a silent auction.

“It’s really nice mix of arts and crafts for some holiday shopping,” said Executive Director Adam Smrcka. “The price points are very affordable.”

The vendors include a basket and candy maker, metal sculptures, beeswax products, candles, and paintings.

Enjoy also a number of musical performances from 12 to 2:30. Freewill donations are appreciated. The Marshfield High School Madrigal singers will perform holiday songs at 1 p.m. in costume. Main Street Conservatory of Dance, piano students, a flute player, and more will also perform.

Smrcka added that the event is very family friendly and a great way to do some unique holiday shopping. Each vendor donates items for the silent auction, and there will be a raffle for a Clyde Wynia sculpture of a cat playing the cello.

The Holiday Showcase will occur Sun. December 3 from 12-4:30 and is located at the Chestnut Center.
