What to Expect at Hub City Days – Map & Event Schedule

One of Marshfield’s most popular festivals returns soon. Hub City Days kicks off with Business after 5 on Thursday, July 25.

On Friday, enjoy downtown deals and promotions during Mad Market Day Sidewalk Sales, dine at the historic street banquet, run in the kid’s duathlon, then take in a movie on Central Ave. at dusk.

The top event, the Car & Bike Show, will feature over 500 vehicles spanning five blocks downtown. Go further back in time and grab a cheap meal at the “Horse Power” display at Upham Mansion. The North Wood County Historical Society will again have horse-drawn vehicles on display plus a $5 lunch plate.

Don’t miss the Family Zone at the library for bouncy houses, sidewalk chalk, and more. A 3-on-3 youth basketball tournament will take place on the 2nd Block of Maple Ave.

The Wenzel Family Plaza will be a separate hub for entertainment featuring the Central Wisconsin’s Got Talent show, a martial arts demonstration, and Main Street Conservatory of Dance.

Beer drinkers can taste test area craft beers at the Hub City Days Brew Fest with a ticket, or fill up at the beer garden in front of City Hall. This year, alcohol is allowed on the festival grounds (no carry-ins).

Johnny Wad will headline the Street Dance Saturday Night at the 600 Block.
