Empty Bowls is back this weekend! Head to Hotel Marshfield to fill up a bowl and your belly with the Soup or Socks charity event. Take a trip back in time to the “Roaring 20’s”, or explore another great event in Marshfield this weekend, all listed below.

Live Music – Dale Dickerson

Enjoy live music performed by Dale Dickerson, pizza, brats, and beverages. Open to the public, no cover charge. 

R. Christian Egger & Gene Wesley – “Thought Is Image”

Thursday | 6-8 pm | Chestnut Center for the Arts

“Thought Is Image,” Artist gallery reception featuring an incredible mixture of photography, ceramic, and painting pieces from both artists. Refreshments will be provided. This show will be up in our gallery from March 7th-April 20th.

Dinosaurs Story Time

Friday | 10-11 am | Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library

Spring Pruning Class

Saturday | 10 am | Schalow’s Nursery

Feel hesitant when it comes to pruning your landscape? We can help you determine a “do it yourself” pruning schedule for your landscaped garden. We will cover which plants react positively to early spring pruning and which need more time. We will cover some of our most popular plants including; larger trees, woody vines, evergreens, and of course hydrangeas. Reregistration is required. Call the Garden Center at 715-591-3478, extension 2, to register.

This year’s Soup or Socks fundraiser event will be dine-in, with a take-out option. Enjoy picking out the handcrafted bowls and participating in raffles!

Candle Affirmations Social & Workshop

Saturday | 2-4 pm | Gypsie Hollow

This FREE event is dedicated to those interested in learning more about candles and their use in wellness, spirituality, and manifestation! Our instructor Beaux will offer his knowledge about candle scribing, anointing oils, candle color correspondences, and so much more!

Timeless Tales: Roaring 20’s

Saturday | 7-8:30 pm |2nd Street Community Center

An evening of Literature & Music presented by the Friends of the Marshfield Library. Refreshments to follow. Tickets are $8 at the door; $5 for students.

Adoptive & Guardianship Parent Coffee Meet Up

Sunday | 9:30-11 am | Uptown Coffee

Join WISAPSP for a coffee meet up! Adoptive and guardianship parents/caregivers are welcome to attend. We will cover your coffee order, and each person/household will receive a 2023 Wisconsin State Park pass at the end of the event (must be present to receive a pass). Please RSVP by Wednesday, March 8th as spots are limited. This will be a great opportunity to connect with families similar to yours. Feel free to bring resources to share as well. Egg Painting

Paint some dazzling eggs with alcohol ink with instructor Cheryl Pischel. Registration is required. The cost is $20 per person. Ages 10 and up.
