Live Music – Gerard AKA G-Man & Lisa

Thursday | 5:30-8:30 pm | American Legion

Enjoy live music performed by Dale Dickerson, pizza, brats, and beverages. Open to the public, no cover charge. Gerard Fischer, better known as G’Man, is a singer, guitarist and harmonica player that performs solo or as a duo with his wife Lisa. They do a variety of cover songs ranging from Johnny Cash to Tom Petty. Whether people are singing along to Jimmy Buffet or Sweet Caroline, he loves to interact with the crowd.

Art Share

Thursday | 6-8:30 pm | Chestnut Center for the Arts

Art Share is a gathering for adult working artists, crafters, and creative beginners.

Participants can bring materials and tools from home to work on a project. Don’t have anything to work on? That’s ok! We’ll provide some basic supplies to get you started on your creative journey. Learn new techniques, explore new mediums, ask for critique/feedback, share supplies, knowledge, and just in general; network, collaborate and make friendships. Art Share is FREE for our creative community, but donations are appreciated.

Thursday | 6:30 pm | Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library 

Local historian, Mike Meyers has spent a lifetime gathering information and amassing and digitizing historic photos pertaining to every aspect of Marshfield history. Join us as he shares his knowledge of the History of the Marshfield Fire Department.

The Foxfire Affair

Thursday | 7-9 pm | Uptown Coffee

Daniel and Claire make up the multi-instrumentalists duo. They entertain with a guitar, mandolin, concertina, and other instruments to complement their varied musical selections. While trading off lead vocals and harmonies, they’ll span several centuries of music playing everything from Irish traditional to sea shanties, American folk to rock, and a touch of original material. Not only are they married to one another but also to their craft. They love performing and sharing music with others.

Celebrating St. Patrick’s day with a live music from the 90’s cover band Modern Throwback.

Planning Bountiful Vegetable Gardens

Saturday | 10 am | Schalow’s Nursery

This informational class will help you design a successful garden. Dusty will discuss a vegetable garden layout, spacing, and how to determine garden capacity. Learn how to test and amend soil, and choose the right type of seed or transplant. You will also learn about companion, succession, and container planting. Do the planning now so you’re ready when that warm weather comes and it’s time to plant your vegetable garden! Free but preregistration is required. Candle Affirmations Social & Workshop

Saturday | 2-4 pm | Gypsie Hollow

This FREE event is dedicated to those interested in learning more about candles and their use in wellness, spirituality, and manifestation! Our instructor Beaux will offer his knowledge about candle scribing, anointing oils, candle color correspondences, and so much more!
