Favorites May Be Added to New Menu
A consistent Best of Marshfield winner for its burgers, Nutz Deep II is celebrating National Hamburger Month with a few brand-new options.
Each Monday this month, a new burger will be on special for the week. “Our head chef designs the different flavors,” said Ann Dieringer, Marketing and Promotions Coordinator. “He comes up with everything on his own.”
Besides adding a delicious new option for those who stop by, there’s a chance for the new flavor to become a permanent option. “We’re kind of judging by this to see what we can put on our new menu and what goes over well,” she said. Nutz Deep II’s new menu will debut sometime in June or July.
Starting May 7, on special is the Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger: A flame-grilled patty, bacon, pork, lettuce, tomato, onion, dijon mustard aioli, and cheddar cheese on a kaiser roll served with fries.
In line with the “holiday,” Nutz Deep II’s Spencer location will host a burger eating contest May 24 with the prize of free burgers for a year (one per month) for whoever can eat their 1 lb burger the quickest.
“We’re not going to say what’s on it,” teased Dieringer. “We’re telling people it’s huge and delicious.”
