Winter makes a good excuse to warm up inside with some holiday drinks, now available for a limited time at Nutz Deep II.
Those who stop by can enjoy five different drinks which arrive in a special souvenir mug that keeps the drink warm for hours. Since kicking off the specials at the Holiday Parade in November, Nutz Deep II has already sold about 400 mugs and has 300 still available.
Available are: Caramel Squirrel (salted caramel liquor), Snowball (Macadamia nut and white chocolate liquor), Holiday Bliss (eggnog liquor and brandy), Peanut Butter Blossom (peanut butter whiskey), and Gingersnap Twist (brown sugar and cinnamon liquor, and Irish cream).
The most popular ones have been the Caramel Squirrel and Peanut Butter Blossom, said Manager Ann Dieringer. Refills are available for a discount.
Stop downtown at 809 S. Central Ave. to try one.
