It’s Mother’s Day weekend! May 13 marks the official day, but there are events starting Saturday. The festivities include the annual art fair (now on Saturday), wine tasting, and a special brunch!
Art on the Avenue
A Mother’s Day tradition, the art fair was rebranded and moved to the Holiday Inn from 10-4 p.m Saturday. Treat mom to a beautiful piece of artwork. Nearly fifty fine artists and crafters will be displaying their talents in a variety of mediums, including woodworking, pottery, metal, jewelry and painting. Market on Sixth
Sample special wines and treats for the day on Saturday, May 12 from 1-3 p.m. Market on Sixth’s annual tasting is a special day and the business goes all out. If you like what you taste, bring home a bottle for Sunday brunch. Watch here to learn more about this gem in downtown Marshfield!
An Evening in Paris Mother & Son Event
This elegant evening benefits the Hannah Center! Read more here. The event starts Saturday, May 12 at 5:30. Social hour will come first with a sit-down dinner at about 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at the Hannah Center or the Century 21 Gold Key Realty office on Central. Pot a Plant at Schalow’s Nursery
On Saturday from 9-4 p.m., pot a plant and make a homemade card for mom as supplies last. Cost is $5 per person, and all ages are welcome!
