New Years Eve Celebrations in Central Wisconsin
From a special meal to some musical entertainment, Marshfield has a lot to offer this New Year’s Eve. Several local restaurants are offering special menus with scrumptious offerings to delight taste buds.
Those that haven’t had the chance to check out the new Oven Above the Pub (located above the Blue Heron BrewPub) could take this opportunity to give it a try. They will be offering a special New Year’s Eve menu from 4 to 9 p.m.
The Belvedere Supper Club will be offering a combination of meals and entertainment options. They are hosting the “Dean Martin Live from Las Vegas” which features Tom Weiland paying tribute to Dean Martin’s classics. This event includes cocktails, the show, a dinner of carved roast beef, steamed shrimp & chicken. They also offer a New Year’s Eve buffet in the dining room or a choice of a limited menu.
The Buck-A-Neer Supper Club, located just out of town, will be hosting its first New Year’s Eve under new management. They will feature a special New Year’s Menu featuring many delectable favorites.
Buck-A-Neer General Manager Gavin Love is looking forward to New Year’s Eve.
“We are very excited for the holiday season. We greatly appreciate our client base and how much they have blessed us. New Year’s is booking up fast and we are looking forward to an eventful night. We are featuring a special menu that includes rack of lamb, prime rib, lobster, and shrimp alfredo,” he said.
For a more casual atmosphere, but still delicious food and a fun time, check out local bar and grill Nutz Deep II. They are offering a DJ all night, free party favors and champagne at midnight and a special dinner. The dinner includes tenderloin steak with a shrimp trio of garlic butter shrimp, red hook ale shrimp, and coconut shrimp.
Ann Dieringer, who runs the front of the house for Nutz Deep II, thinks it’s a great choice to ring in the New Year.
“We have great drink specials, great food in a clean inviting atmosphere with outstanding service. It’s the best place in Marshfield,” she said.
Also, it is an option for New Year’s Day offering a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar, Belgian waffles with strawberries for breakfast and a Hangover Burger for lunch, which she said includes everything but the kitchen sink and promises it “cures any possible hangover you have.”
Partiers looking for live musical entertainment should check out Vox’s Rocking New Year’s Eve Bayou Ball, which promises to offer the tastes and sounds of New Orleans. The event will feature music from Copper Box, an Americana quartet influenced by blues, jazz, rock and polka music. Concert goers can choose tickets for the show only, for the show plus dinner for two, or for the show, dinner for two and hotel stays. The dinner option includes a choice of blackened Cajun-style steak, creole chicken pasta, or vegetarian jambalaya.
