Ben Steinbach, Marshfield Parks & Recreation Parks Supervisor, provides further insight into what it takes to get Hefko Pool ready for the summer swimming months. In this video, he talks about the draining process and also answers why water is kept in the pool during the winter months.
The City of Marshfield is currently developing a plan for the future of Hefko Pool, with the Pool Study Committee now in the process of identifying potential sites for a new pool (if that is the direction which the City chooses to pursue). Their meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
