An open house for Almosta Ranch Canine Learning Center includes the opportunity to meet a real K9 officer.
The pet care business will welcome guests to see their operation on October 20 from 11-2pm and ask dog questions from experienced handlers. Dogs are welcome, but just make sure to keep them on a leash.
Military canine handler Ryan Albaugh will hold a protection demo at 11:30 with dog Rocky. Rocky worked with Ryan to protect friendly forces from Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in Afghanistan, also working security in Kabul at the US Embassy. As owner of a dog training and security consulting business, and a graduate of Lackland Airfare Base Dog Handler, Ryan is highly skilled in professional dog training.
Ryan will further share his experiences at a 1pm presentation. Attendees will be able to ask questions.
Exhibitors include Marshfield Area Pet Shelter, Laundromutt, ProVision, retired ordinance officer and K9 handler Dan Leonard, and PlayNTrain K9.
