Annual Hot Chocolate 5K A Holiday Tradition
Main Street Marshfield’s (MSM) 6th Annual Hot Chocolate Run/Walk is fast approaching. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, Dec. 10th at 4pm. Registration takes place at the Chestnut Center for the Arts.
Last year’s event hit record numbers with more than 400 runners taking off in Downtown Marshfield and heading through the Rotary Winter Wonderland lights. 2015 was the first time the run took place in the evening so that runners/walkers could enjoy the glistening wonderland lights. Along the route, people will be served Hot Chocolate and listen to Holiday tunes!
“We get runners dressed up in Santa outfits, ugly sweaters, elf costumes… everyone gets festive and just has a lot of fun with this event!” stated Main Street Executive Director, Angie Eloranta. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Marshfield Sunrise Rotary Club’s clean water project.
