If you’re into getting creative, kick off the weekend tonight at Chestnut Center for the Arts for a free creative gathering. Enjoy some tastings of wine and whiskey at Hotel Marshfield, break your “Cabin Fever” at Wenzel Plaza, check out the boat show, and get the kids bouncing for the last time this year at Oak Ave. Community Center. Art Share 

Thursday | 6-8:30 pm | Chestnut Center for the Arts 

Art Share is a gathering for adult working artists, crafters, and creative beginners.  Participants can bring materials and tools from home to work on a project. Don’t have anything to work on? That’s ok! We’ll provide some basic supplies to get you started on your creative journey. Learn new techniques, explore new mediums, ask for critique/feedback, share supplies, knowledge, and just in general; network, collaborate and make friendships. Art Share is FREE for our creative community, but donations are appreciated.  

Live Music – Live Music Gerard AKA G-Man & Lisa

Thursday | 5:30-8:30 pm | American Legion

Gerard Fischer, better known as G’Man, is a singer, guitarist, and harmonica player that performs solo or as a duo with his wife Lisa. They do a variety of cover songs ranging from Johnny Cash to Tom Petty. Whether people are singing along to Jimmy Buffet or Sweet Caroline, he loves to interact with the crowd. Pizza, brats, and beverages. Everyone is Welcome, open to the public, and, no cover.

Marine & Boat Show 

Friday 12 pm – 6 pm, Saturday 9 am – 4 pm | Power Pac Equipment & Motorsports 

It’s sure to be a good time for the whole fam. A PACKED showroom with boats and accessories, show-exclusive specials and pricing, face painting for kids on Saturday from 10-2, indoor LIVE trout fishing pond, chat with brand experts on all things marine, register for giveaways and prizes, refreshments, and more. 

Whiskey & Wine Fest 

Friday | 6-9 pm | Hotel Marshfield 

Samples of whiskey or wine, cheese pairings, hors d’oeuvres, live music, wine pull, and 50/50! Tickets are $45 per person. 

Hub City Winds Band Concert

Friday | 7:30 – 8:30 pm | UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield

Student and Community musicians from Central Wisconsin form the Hub City Symphony performing music from the movies, tickets are $10.

Cabin Fever Run & Fest

Saturday | 7:30 am – 2:30 pm | Wenzel Plaza

Wisconsin is always in season. We’re here for it. Join us as we shake off winter blues, connect with friends, and get outside!
Cabin Fever Run: Choose to run or walk the 3K or 5K distances from downtown Marshfield neighborhoods, both street and trail. Registration will be at the 2nd Street Community Center; race starts and ends in the Wenzel Family Plaza.
Cabin Fever Fest: All are welcome to Cabin Fever Fest, kicking off in the Wenzel Family Plaza at 10 a.m. Warm up by the bonfires, grab s’mores, sip cocoa & grab your complimentary runner drink at the beverage tent.

Frosty Family Fun Days 

Saturday | 10 am – 5 pm | Oak Ave. Community Center 

Fun for the whole family, inflatable bounce houses galore, a balloon artist, face painting, toys, tattoos, and more! $10 per wristband, group rates available, and kids one and under are Free. For every wristband sold, we will be donating $1 to a local nonprofit of the week! Food pantry donations are encouraged and rewarded. 

LOD Dart Tournament 

Saturday | 10 am – 5 pm | Oak Ave. Community Center 

301/501/Cricket-Race to 3, BYO Quarters. Sign up at noon @ Jack’s Bar $15 ($10 to payout, $5 towards finals in Lush’s Point series tournaments). Traveling between, Jack’s, T-Bone’s, Bey’s, and PeeWee’s (all bars within walking distance).

Crystal Social & Workshop

Saturday | 2-4 pm | Gypsie Hollow

This FREE event is dedicated to those interested in learning more about crystals and minerals and their use in wellness and mindfulness. Mineralogist Beaux has been studying and working with minerals for over a decade. His works and methods combine the scientific understanding of minerals with psychology and philosophy. Are you curious of how minerals actually work for wellness and mindfulness? Do minerals heal? What role does the mineral actually play in one’s journey to wellness? What power do minerals really possess? Stop down and find out!
