Trick-or-Treat Around the Store at Festival Food’s Boofest

Festivities Include Allergy-Friendly Options

There’s plenty of Halloween fun for kids at Festival Food’s annual Boofest.

On Sat. October 27 from 10-2 p.m., kids 8 and under get to put on their favorite costume and trick-or-treat around the store for free. A photo booth for pictures and cookie decorating are also part of the festivities.

And they’re not the only ones who get into the spirit. “All of our associates love to dress up, have fun, and see lots of smiling faces from the kids and parents!” said Nichole Hovendick, Lead Receiver.

Kids with allergies don’t have to sit out – stations marked with a special color let them know it’s safe. “The Teal Pumpkin Project allows children with allergies to know that there are treats available for them,” said Hovendick. “We have not only candy at our station, but toys, string cheese, water, cookies, etc.”

Treat bags will be handed out to each child as they enter. Just put on a costume and show up to have a fun time!

Marshfield Festival Foods is open 24/7 at 1613 N. Central Ave.
