Area Churches Collaborate to reviveWISCONSIN
EXPLORE – Time to Revive, a Dallas-based ministry committed to pursuing revival in the U.S. and beyond, is coming to Marshfield for a movement being called “reviveWISCONSIN.”
This week-long community event and outreach will begin Friday, April 27th with a 6:30pm service at the host church, Faith Fellowship Church. Following the kickoff, reviveWISCONSIN will continue daily through Wednesday, May 2nd. Each day begins with prayer at 7am, a free breakfast at 8am and then training and outreach. Teams will go out into the community to pray for people, showing the same love and compassion Jesus showed when he walked the streets of Judea.
After another round of lunch at various local churches, training and outreach, each day culminates with a free dinner at 5:15pm and a 6:30pm worship service at the host church.
All believers across central Wisconsin are being invited to join in. reviveWISCONSIN expects to send hundreds of people out on the streets of Marshfield and surrounding areas to ask the question, “How can I pray for you?”
Following an invite by local businessmen and pastors, the Time to Revive team has been reaching out to churches in Marshfield for the past months. They’ve been sharing the vision of reviveWISCONSIN to unite the many congregations and equip believers to pray for people and share the Gospel in their community. About 20 congregations so far have committed to linking arms to be part of reviveWISCONSIN, and new churches are invited to join.
Since 2007 Time to Revive has traveled to 14 other states, calling the Church to unite together and leave familiar church walls to share the Good News of Christ in their neighborhoods. Most recently, the ministry has seen notable results in the Chippewa Valley, Wausau, Texas, Ohio and Indiana. Teams travel throughout multiple counties, seeing the Gospel declared in marketplaces, schools, and community streets. Many people came to new faith in Christ and many others were revived in their faith through these movements.
Time to Revive expects volunteers from across the country to travel to Marshfield and participate alongside local believers in reviveWISCONSIN. Everyone is invited and welcome to join!
