Help Local Families Stay Warm and Fed this Holiday Season

Donate to Families in Need this Holiday Season

Keeping warm and fed are two things necessary for life in Wisconsin, but when fulfilling these needs is a challenge, help can be found through the generosity and compassion of local businesses and organizations. Take a run through your closets and pantries to help neighbors who are in need.

Burns Insurance

Burns Insurance Agency LLC is again collecting coats, hats, mittens, gloves for all ages until December 20 (Learn more HERE). The clothing benefits homeless people and families in need who don’t have adequate warm clothing. Bring your outerwear that is no longer needed to the Burns Insurance Agency office at 500 S. Central Ave for distribution.

The Next Generation of Midwest Tattooers

Inspired by ideas online, the business set up a coat rack outside of the tattoo shop on Central Ave that invited people to easily leave and take coats as needed (view our coverage HERE).

Rotary Winter Wonderland

The holiday lights display helps feed the hungry of Marshfield and beyond, and has collected over half a million food items for 29 pantries. The show runs through December 31 from 5-9 p.m. each night, featuring live music five nights a week. Make sure to bring unexpired food items.

St. Vincent de Paul Outreach

St. Vincent de Paul outreach provides services like a food pantry, free medical clinic, and vouchers for clothing and household items (Learn more HERE). Donations of food or money to support the program can be provided in person or by mail.
