Mother & Son Red Carpet Event Debuts in May

Celebrate Mother’s Day Eve in Style at Hotel Marshfield

Save the date! Hotel Marshfield will host the city’s first Mother & Son Red Carpet Event on Saturday, May 13th starting at 5:00 pm. It will be an elegant night where Mother’s Day Eve can be celebrated in style with food, drinks and socializing.

Created by Patty Hasenbank, the event gives sons a chance to have a special night with their moms. With Father and Daughter dances being such a hit, Hasenbank wanted to take that idea, change it up, and add some glitz to the night.

“This is an elegant, sit down dinner,” said Hasenbank. “Boys love their Momma’s and this gives them quality, sit down time together.”

The meal will be a family classic with turkey, mashed potatoes and all the favorite sides to go along. Chocolate cake with strawberries will top it all off and is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Hasenbank is excited to see all of the formal or cocktail attire. She wants Moms to feel special and have a reason to dress up and enjoy the evening. Her own sons will be at her side in tuxedos to help make the night extra special.

“I’m excited to see all of the happy faces,” she said. “This is about Moms being dolled up and feeling special. This community wants fun things to do and the boys appreciate getting mom to themselves.”

Because of the elegance of the evening, boys must be 8 years and older to attend. Music will be provided by a fun and young DJ that will play something for everyone. Jennifer Jacobson Photography will also be on hand to capture the memories being made.

As an additional bonus to the community, proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Angel Fund at Marshfield Clinic Health System. After Hasenbank’s own mother suffered a heart attack last year, the Angel Fund became near and dear to her own heart.

With a motto being Heart of Friendship, this is an evening where the bond between mother & son will be even more firmly established.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased through Hasenbank at 715-305-1669, [email protected] or at the Century 21 Office in Marshfield.
