One year ago on Feb. 28, 2019, a passing salesman investigated a crying sound coming from the trash can of a Marshfield home.
An ordinance officer from the Marshfield Police Department arrived to investigate and pulled out a trash bag that included 8 newborn puppies.
Luckily, all of the puppies including one additional puppy born later survived their ordeal and spent the next few weeks being cared for by Marshfield Area Pet Shelter before getting adopted into loving homes.
