Google’s view of Marshfield is set for an update.
A Google Street View car was spotted early afternoon on Thursday on the northeast side of Marshfield near Weiler Convenience Store on E. 4th Street.
The car, with mounted camera on top, captures images that will be used to make panoramic views of the roadway on Google Maps.
According to Google Street View, the last time this area was updated was September 2008, a year after Google Street View first launched. Some sections of Marshfield have been updated more recently, while other roadways have never been mapped.
