Downtown Wine Walk Returns Mother’s Day Weekend

Sip wine and explore downtown at the annual Downtown Wine Walk, hosted by Marshfield Area United Way.

On Saturday, May 11 starting at 11 a.m., participants are given 15 wine locations at local businesses to choose from, cheese samples from Nasonville Dairy, and a 15 oz. souvenir wine glass.

“Proceeds from the Wine Walk will be put toward our 2019 Campaign this fall to help support our funded programs,” said Ashley Winch, Communications Director. These programs include Big Brothers, Big Sisters; Pathway Partners; Soup or Socks, Youth Net, and more.

Tickets are still available and are $30 until May 1, when the price increases to $35. Last year the event sold out.

The Wine Walk takes place conjunction with the event “Art on the Avenue,” an annual art show which will feature 50 artists from around the Midwest at Holiday Inn from 10-4 p.m. Food trucks are available and admission is free.

Register for the Wine Walk online at www.marshfieldareaunitedway.org/WineWalk , the United Way office, or Holiday Inn. Specify which location you will register at while purchasing the ticket. On the day of the event, registration begins at 10:30 a.m. Participants will have their IDs checked and are given a wristband and navigation map.
