Culver’s of Marshfield is Renovating

Explore Marshfield – Culver’s Renovating

Fans of Culver’s Butterburgers and fresh frozen custard have a few days to get their fix before the restaurant closes on September 11 at 3:00pm for renovations.

“It will be as extensive as a remodel goes,” said General Manager Dylan Suchocki. “We are pretty much doing a whole store remodel.”

The remodel will feature a new dining room, new carpet, new booths, new tiles, and a whole new look. Cash registers will only be refurbished, as they are scheduled for a corporate upgrade in January (which will accommodate chip readers).

Behind the scenes, the restaurant will be changing to an open kitchen concept. Externally, the building will get a facelift with a fresh coat of paint and other minor updates.

“We’re going to have a new display by the road, and a new digital display sign,” said Suchocki. “The menu board by the drive-thru will be different, and include order confirmation so you can see what you’re ordering.”

Culver’s of Marshfield opened at its current location in 2002, and is locally-owned by Mary and Conroy Soik. Located in the former Ponderosa building, not much has changed since its opening. Though this autumn’s extensive remodel will result in a fresh new look, the menu will stay the same.

“It is going to be the same quality,” said Suchocki. “We’re all excited.”

Culver’s will reopen on Monday, October 10 to the public, after a special “test run day” for volunteers of the “Get Fired Up” event.
