Pick Your Pumpkin at Kid-Friendly Festival Foods Blowout Event Oct. 5

Over 4,000 pumpkins will be ready for selection at Festival Foods during its annual Pumpkin Blowout event on October 5.

“Festival establishes and maintains great relationships with local growers and growers from surrounding states to bring tens of thousands of pumpkins to our customers at the best prices of the season,” said Clay Carter, Produce Manager. “It’s not only a pumpkin sale, but a chance for our stores to celebrate fall with our guests and show them our appreciation for choosing Festival Foods.”

The family-friendly outing offers plenty for kids to do, including a petting zoo, bounce castle, hoop toss, and music and sweet kettle corn by Razor J. Calls permitting, members of the Marshfield Police Department will be present as well.

The all-day event takes place 8-5 p.m. at the southwest corner of the parking lot, where guests can also purchase their items. Find fall décor staples such as gourds, painted pumpkins, Cinderella pumpkins, white pumpkins, pie pumpkins, straw bales, corn stalks, gooseneck squash, “warty goblin” pumpkins, and decorative corn. Also, look for treats like deconstructed caramel apples and fall baked treats made by the bakery department.

Festival Foods associates will be available to help in any way. “For instance, if help is needed fishing the perfect pumpkin out from a bin, we are more than happy to do the heavy lifting,” said Carter. “Look for the yellow Festival shirts and ask us for anything you need, as always.”

Festival Foods is located at 1613 N. Central Ave.
