Pet Shelter to Host Annual Fundraising Dinner

Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS) will host its 5th annual Cold Noses Warm Hearts fundraising dinner on September 30, 2016 at Hotel Marshfield.

“This event is one of my favorite fundraisers because we get to publicly acknowledge and thank all of our hard working volunteers who make all this possible every day,” said Karen Rau, MAPS President. “This event also allows us to showcase our many accomplishments and provides the opportunity for our supporters and community members to understand how their donations are making a difference in the lives of innocent animals.”

Rau added that the organization will be sharing a recap of the past year, which involved much progress and exciting new changes.

“This year we had the privilege of announcing our first staff member- our new shelter manager,” said Rau. “Also, we spent an entire year renovating our temporary home and we are excited to begin our lifesaving work in a physical shelter.”

MAPS_DinnerLogoTickets for the event are available at Wildwood Animal Hospital, Castlerock Veterinary Hospital, Marshfield Vet Service, MAPS Adoption Center-Marshfield Mall, and online at www.MarshfieldPetShelter.org.

The evening begins at 5:00pm with a social hour and raffle ticket purchasing, with dinner being served at 6:30pm. Advance tickets are $30/person or $240/reserved table of eight (reserve by 9/28/16).
