The Marshfield Parks & Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Parks & Recreation Association (WPRA), is selling tickets to area attractions and theme parks at discounted rates throughout the summer. Pick up tickets Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:45pm at the Parks & Recreation office, 211 E. Second Street, Suite 111. For a list of tickets and prices, visit our website at ci.marshfield.wi.us. Fall Soccer for children grades K through 6th. Held Sundays, August 26th – October 14th at Griese Park. Fee increases after July 5th. Registration deadline is July 19th.
Gymnastics will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from June 11th – 21st at Marshfield Senior High. Totnastics class is for ages 3.5 to 5, Advanced Totnastics for ages 4.5 to 5 and Beginner for ages 6 & up.
Skateboard lessons for ages 8 & up will be held Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from July 23rd – Aug 1st at the Marshfield Skatepark.
Summer trip to Madison will be going to Henry Vilas Zoo and Olbrich Garden or the Madison Children’s Museum (you choose!) on Monday, August 13th. Coach bus will depart from Marshfield at 7:30 a.m. and return at 8:00 p.m.
Tennis Lessons for ages 3 & up will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays, June 11th – 27th and July 9th – 25th. Evening lessons will be held Mondays, June 11th – July 23rd and Wednesdays, June 13th – July 25th.
3-Sport Ball for ages 4 & 5 will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the morning, June 5th – July 19th. It will also be held on Mondays in the evening, June 4th – July 16th.
Baseball for children grades K through 5. Rookie League (Grades K-1) will be held on Wednesdays, June 6th – July 18th. Triple-A League (Grades 1-3) will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 5th- July 19th. American League (Grades 4-5) will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, June 6th – July 11th. Traveling to area communities for this league may be required.
Golf Camp for ages 9 to 17 will be held Tuesday through Friday, July 24th – 27th at Duffers Delight Golf Center (former Marshfield Country Club). Lunches are provided.
Diggers Volleyball Camp will be held Monday through Thursday, June 18th – 21st for grades 4 & 5 (12:30–2:30 p.m.) and grades 6 & 7 (2:45 – 4:45 p.m.). Also held Monday through Wednesday, June 11th – 13th for grades 8 & 9 (12:30 – 3:15 p.m.). Held at the Oak Avenue Community Center.
Safety City will be held Monday through Friday, June 25th – 29th at Madison School from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. This program is for children going into 4K & Kindergarten in the fall and will be taught by police and fire fighters. Each day will cover a different topic including fire safety, poison safety, water safety, bus safety, bike safety and more.
