Learn to Curl with Marshfield Curling Club

Curious about curling? The Marshfield Curling Club will be holding its annual Learn to Curl open house event October 28 – October 31 from 7-9 p.m.

Community members are invited to test out the sport at no charge. “Our volunteer instructors will walk participants through the motions of delivering a stone, sweeping and potentially a few ‘ends’ of a game,” said Jordan Munger, Club President.

Attendees are encouraged to dress warm, and wear comfortable pants and a clean pair of shoes.

“We welcome those young and old to participate and look forward to showing them how much fun this sport is!” said Munger.

The Marshfield Curling Club, founded in 1976, has been located at the Fairgrounds for 40 years. The club has undergone improvements to its facilities in recent years, such as replacing the wood paneling with drywall. This year, it added a new TV and fridge.
