Festival Food’s Applefest Showcases Best of the Fall Harvest

Fall has bloomed with color and the air is now crisp as an apple – a Wisconsin-grown apple, that is.

Fresh off the bounty of the season, Festival Foods will be hosting Applefest at its store starting October 24 until October 31. During that week, a large selection of apples will be 25% off per pound. Guests can sink their teeth into the ones they aren’t familiar with samples from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.

“Our main coupon item will be Wisconsin-grown, 3 lb McIntosh apples,” said Clay Carter, Produce Manager. “But all varieties of bulk apples are included in the sale, including some organic apples.”

The event goes a step further to offer special deals on tie-in items, like sweet caramel apples and apple pies from the bakery.

Those wanting to take advantage of the best prices and get their fall baking in will find Applefest is the best time to stock up on apples at Festival Foods, said Carter.

Festival Foods is open 24/7. For a unique way to use apples, try the “Apple Cheddar Sliders” at the Festival Foods blog or these Cinnamon Apple Chips.
