Financial Peace University Course to be held at North Ridge Church
In the first 90 days of practicing Dave Ramsey’s methods, the typical family sees an $8,000 financial turnaround by paying off $5,300 in debt and saving $2,700.
Starting January 22, North Ridge Church will host Ramsey’s “Financial Peace University” to help individuals, couples, and families better manage their finances.
“Financial Peace University is a nine-lesson money class that will teach you step-by-step ways to create a budget, pay off debt, spend wisely, save for the future, give generously and so much more,” said Bryan and Stefanie Solt, FPU Coordinators.
“FPU has life changing content that can lead to better relationships and also teach people the skills needed to be good stewards of their money,” said Solt.
The course covers the following skills:
1. Learn Dave’s famous “7 Baby Steps” plan.
2. Create a plan that you and your spouse are excited about.
3. Create a budget
4. Learn how to get rid of debt
5. Learn how to protect yourself against marketing strategies
6.Learn about the importance of insurance and selecting the right policies
7. Plan for retirement and college savings
8. Learn about buying and selling real estate
9. Understand the importance of giving
