The Schierl Family has called Central Wisconsin home for over 100 years, and although the trends and fashions have changed, their love of living and creating memories in and around the many lakes and woods of Wisconsin, has not.
In 2017 the concept of Northern Oasis Spirits was born, developed by Tim, Fritz and Bill Schierl; the ‘Schierl Brothers’. In 2018, in conjunction with Distillery Partners, LLC in Plover, WI, the brothers’ idea turned reality when an all-natural 100% handcrafted “grain to glass” line of spirits was launched, paying homage to the brothers’ Wisconsin upbringing. Sharing her family’s love of the Upper Midwest and liquid libations, Samantha Schierl joined in late July for the official launch of Northern Oasis Spirits and has been working as the Brand Ambassador to grow the brand, so everyone has an opportunity to taste the tranquility!
Creating a brand that is truly local and family-owned, Northern Oasis Spirits are distilled in small batches and bottled and labeled by hand, making every bottle personal and unique in it’s own way!
The brand currently distills three spirits—
Lakeview Vodka, distilled using 100% upper Midwest corn, authentically pure, naturally gluten free and contains no additives. The finish is clean, full-bodied and exceptionally smooth, making it extremely versatile.
Riverbank Spiced Rum, infused with 10 natural spices, has a subtle orange citrus aroma balanced with deep notes of vanilla, allspice and cinnamon. A wonderful rum to mix or drink neat on the rocks.
Lone Duck Cinnamon Whiskey, 100% all-natural with an up-front sweet fiery punch dissipating to a smooth hot cinnamon finish. It is a great tasting shot, outstanding on the rocks, or as a base to many complex cocktails
Northern Oasis Spirits was created in hopes of “distilling” a small amount of fun, fellowship and simplicity back into a hectic world. The Schierl brothers’ grew up enjoying (and braving) the Wisconsin winters’ with family and friends. They created a brand that rekindles some of those fond memories and helps people create new ones.
