YMCA to Host Indoor Triathlon for All Fitness Levels

Event Offers New Spin on Traditional Triathlon

All fitness levels are invited to try an indoor triathlon set for April 14. Participants will swim, bike and run for set times totaling one hour at the YMCA.

“The YMCA Indoor Triathlon offers a new spin on traditional triathlons,” said Molly Michalek, Healthy Living Program Director. “Participants ages 13 and up will compete based upon distance completed within an allotted time frame. It is a great opportunity for those who want the personal challenge in a noncompetitive environment.”

The fun event is for personal achievement as a way to complete a triathlon for the first time or to kick-start a triathlon training session. Volunteers are still needed to help with timing and event transitions. Anyone interested in volunteering can call Michalek at 715-387-4900 or email [email protected].

Registration is due April 7. Print off the brochure online or pick one up at the YMCA, then mail or drop off the attached form to:
