With a few valentine themed events and other unique opportunities for fun, Marshfield has something for everyone to enjoy this weekend.

Snow Fest Sculptures

Daily | Wenzel Family Plaza

Boson hosted Snow Fest with hand-carved snow sculptures that are still displayed at Wenzel Family Plaza for the public to enjoy.

Thursday | 4-5 pm | Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library

Open to all 6th through 12th graders who want help create Teen programs for the library.

UWSP at Marshfield presents, “Animal Farm”

Thursday | 7:30 pm | UWSP at Marshfield

Staged reading of Animal Farm by George Orwell, a satire on the perils of Stalinism has proved magnificently long-lived as a parable about totalitarianism anywhere and has given the world at least one immortal phrase: “Some are more equal than others.” The animals on a farm drive out their master and take over and run the farm for themselves.

Frosty Family Fun Days

Saturday | 10 am – 5 pm | Oak Ave. Community Center

Fun for the whole family, inflatable bounce houses galore, a balloon artist, face painting, toys, tattoos, and more! $10 per wristband, group rates available, and kids one and under are Free. For every wristband sold, we will be donating $1 to a local nonprofit of the week! Food pantry donations are encouraged and rewarded.

Come to Support Heather Widmann and her amazing family in their fight to beat Liver Cancer. Heather was diagnosed in October 2022 with a rare form of Liver Cancer and her family and Friends want to help her live her life worry-free as she focuses on her health. Enjoy food and drinks, raffles, corn hole, live music, and more. 

Winter Fun Day

Saturday | 12 – 4 pm | Seehafer Farm Creamery

Horses Sharon and Shirley will be hitched and ready to take you for a ride through the woods and around the farm. Enjoy some fried cheese curds, hot chocolate, and cider all available for purchase in the store. Ages 5 and under free, 6-12 $3, and 13 and up $5. Cash only.

Rescue for Life Pet Adoption

Saturday | 12 – 4 pm | Pet Supplies Plus

Come meet our pets available for adoption. You may even get some sweet Valentine’s Day kisses from the pups!

Saturday | 1-3 pm | Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library

Bring your sweetheart for some all-ages fun! Enjoy live music by local duo Twain J, on or off the dance floor. Have your party portrait taken by our photographer. Enjoy fun crafts and tasty refreshments. We can’t wait to see your fancy party outfits!

Valentines Tea Party

Saturday | 3-5 pm | Chestnut Center for the Arts

Join CCA for Valentine’s Day Tea in the beautiful Dr. Jane McLamarrah & Michael Kohl Fireplace Room. Sip tea, and enjoy the gentle clinking sounds of delicate teacups while you relish small bites and good conversation as you relax in the warm colorful light from the stained glass windows that surround the enchanting space. CCA aims to make this fun and memorable experience that will bring folks together and create lasting memories. Tickets are $25.

Crystal Social & Workshop

Saturday | 2-4 pm | Gypsie Hollow

This FREE event is dedicated to those interested in learning more about crystals and minerals and their use in wellness and mindfulness. Mineralogist Beaux has been studying and working with minerals for over a decade. His works and methods combine the scientific understanding of minerals with psychology and philosophy. Are you curious of how minerals actually work for wellness and mindfulness? Do minerals heal? What role does the mineral actually play in one’s journey to wellness? What power do minerals really possess? Stop down and find out!

Art With A Heart

Sunday | 1-3 pm | Chestnut Center for the Arts

Create your own heart design using mixed media to give as a valentine or keep for yourself! Lead by instructor Marguerite Timmerman. Tickets are $20, advanced registration is required.
