Explore Marshfield - Small Town Baseball
This weekend, enjoy America’s favorite pastime in a very big way at the Small Town Baseball 2016 State Championships. Steve J Miller Recreation Area will play host to this year’s event, featuring teams in Divisions 10U, 12U, 13U, and 14U.
Participating teams must be composed of students from high schools with an enrollment of less than 700, and this year’s finals will feature 32 different teams from throughout the state.
As its name implies, Small Town Baseball is designed just for small towns- No all-star teams, no tournament teams, just small towns competing against each other to be crowned Wisconsin State Champions!
Presented this year by Marshfield Clinic, the Small Town Baseball State Championship will be a fun weekend for spectators and players. The main event features multiple teams fighting for the state championship, with other highlights including the home run contest, fastest base runner contest, rock climbing wall, and obstacle course.
