McMillan Marsh Wildlife Area

Wetlands, woodlands and grasslands all make up the 6,500 acre McMillan Marsh Wildlife Area near the Little Eau Pleine River headwaters and one mile north of Marshfield.

The area is open to hunting and trapping except in refuge areas and a 5 1/2 mile bike trail is open May through August. Hiking, wildlife viewing, and cross-country skiing are other activities. The Marsh is managed by the DNR.
