Friday, June 1

Mayor’s Breakfast, 5:30-9:30am

Central Wisconsin State Fairgrounds, Expo Building

Sponsored in part by Festival Foods.
Milk provided by Weber’s Farm Store.
Tickets $6, children 6 and under are free. Advanced tickets at MACCI.

  • MACCI’s Agri-Business Committee will be recognizing 12 outstanding Ag seniors from area high schools, Century Farms, and our 2018 Friend of Ag; the National Farm Medicine Center. Stop by their display as you exit the breakfast hall.

  • 6:30pm: “The Juggler with the Yellow Shoes”, Dan Kirk has been juggling since the summer of 1983. With over 2,555 performances throughout 14 states, he is sure to be a hit at Dairyfest. Dan provides comic juggling at its nest! Sponsored by Simplicity Credit Union.
  • 7:30pm: Marshfield Civic Band Concert. Bring your lawn chairs and help the band kick off their summer concert series!

8th Annual Parade Day Breakfast, 7:30-10:30am

Wesley United Methodist Church, 205 East 3rd Street Only one block off Central Avenue, park once, have breakfast, and walk to the parade route. The menu consists of scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit, pastries, juice, milk and coffee. Cost is $8.

Lion’s Fishing Contest, 8:00am-4:00pm

Wildwood Park Upper Pond
$1 registration fee
Fishing contest for kids 12 years of age and younger. Every child receives a prize that was donated by local businesses! Chance to win a grand prize! Prizes include rods, toys, food coupons, fishing tackle, and many other items. Some rods and reels will be available to use, but you are encouraged to bring your own equipment. Bait will be supplied. Sponsored by Marshfield Lions Club.

North Wood County Historical Society Old Fashioned Pie and Ice Cream Social, 10:00am-3:00pm

Come enjoy this Dairyfest tradition with a slice of homemade pie just like Grandma used to make and top it off with a scoop of ice cream. Hot dogs, brats and chips available along with an old fashioned lemonade stand. Enjoy live music on the porch and participate in the bucket raffle. You can also take a stroll through the Heritage Rose Garden. Tours of the Governor’s House will also be available at Noon. There is no cost to tour however, donations are appreciated.

Parade, 11:00am

Stepping off on the corner of 2nd Street and Central Ave. Dairyfest… “Celebrate Wisconsin Dairy” will be presented as 70+ units take part in this year’s Dairyfest parade. This year’s 2018 Parade “Eggstra-special” Marshals are Neil Riedel and Ron Johnson who will lead the parade. These gentlemen have cooked the eggs at the Mayor’s breakfast longer than anyone can remember– except them. Such dedication from these two guys and our community is so grateful to them. Our parade partners, Marshfield Clinic Health System, will distribute buckets along the route so “kiddos” can collect all the goodies handed out. Don’t miss local and area high school bands perform along the parade route. The units will travel south on Central Avenue, turning east on 14th Street, and south on Cherry Street, ending just inside the fairgrounds. The Central Wisconsin State Fairgrounds is your one-stop destination for a full afternoon of activities.

5th Annual Cow-Pie Bingo, 12:00-2:00pm

The Hannah Center, 212 East 3rd Street

Join us after the parade for a family friendly bingo. Bingo squares are $5 each. Enter for a chance to win $100.

Join the crowd in anticipation as our Liquid Coin Dairy calf takes the bingo board and drops a “cow-pie” on the winning square. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with the calf. Purchase your bingo squares by 1:30pm or beforehand at www.hannahcenter.com. Tours of The Hannah Center will be available.

Saturday Family Fun Day, 12:00-5:00pm

  • 12:00-5:00pm: Home based business show. Browse through an assortment of vendors offering everything from clothing to make-up to household items to home décor and so much more. Vendors will be set-up inside the Junior Fair Building.

  • Face painting by Festive Faces
  • 12:00pm-5:00pm: Petting zoo provided by Kraft’s Kuddly Kritters, inside the World’s Largest Round Barn!
  • 1:00-4:00pm: FREE milk. Sponsored by Weber’s Farm Store and the farmers of Nasonville Dairy
  • Food booths galore!!! Tempt your taste buds to deep fried cheese curds, homemade French fries, BBQ pork, burgers, brats, hot dogs, ice cream, mouse ears, Gyros, kettle korn and more. Come hungry!
  • 1:00pm: Under the big tent! Marshfield’s own, Kevin Boyles has been performing professionally since 1988. He has presented his incredible blend of humor and illusions before audiences of all ages. Throughout every performance, Kevin tests the abilities and coordination of his audience members.
  • 2:15pm: Main Street Conservatory of Dance
  • Illusionist Kevin Boyles creates wonder and fun with his amazing MAGIC and BALLOON wizardry with his very own Hatrick. Hatrick is a one of a kind idea, designed and created by Kevin Boyles. There is no other roving show, quite like: The Magic of Hatrick! Don’t miss it after his show! Sponsored by Cellcom.

Outdoor Dairyfest Beer Garden

Come enjoy an outdoor beer garden during Dairyfest featuring live music, raffles, food, beer and more. Beer garden opens at 1:00pm with Joe G playing from 2:00- 6:00pm. Boom Box will be performing from 7:00-midnight. There is no admission charge. Must be over 21 to enter! A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Marshfield Young Professionals. June Vox Concert, 6:00pm

The Vox Concert Series kicks off their summer concert series with for an evening of music outdoors. Music will start at 6:00pm and the concert is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring a basket of their favorite snacks and beverages to enjoy during the concert. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
