The Wood County snowmobile trails maintained by the Bakerville Sno Rovers will open on Friday, Jan. 17 at 8 a.m. All other trails in the country are closed until further notice.
Riders may encounter trail re-routes and rough, icy patches and thin portions of the trial in the fields. Pay attention to signs and trail markers, using caution when crossing bodies of water.
The snowmobile clubs have worked extra hard this year due to the July 2019 storm damage and continue to clear, mark, sign the trails, in addition to securing permission from landowners. Riders are reminded not to detour outside trail markings and to not trespass on landowner’s property.
