Concert & More at Chestnut Center This Weekend
from Adam Smrcka, Executive Director
This weekend at the Chestnut Center for the Arts, we have two wonderful events.
Marshfield’s best known artist and creator of Jurustic Park, Clyde Wynia, will be speaking about his creations in an artist lecture at CCA beginning at 6:30 p.m. this Friday 2/24/17. This is a unique opportunity to hear the tales and stories behind the whimsical and widely loved creations that so many have adorning their homes and yards. Read more here.
We also have a wonderful bluegrass band playing on Saturday evening. The High 48s from Minnesota will be in concert in the historic performance hall beginning at 8 p.m. this Saturday 2/25/17. Read more here.
Also on display in the main gallery are the encaustic paintings of Jessie Fritsch. The gallery is vibrant with color and would be the perfect way to remember that spring is indeed on the way!
