Veterans Day, formerly known as Armistice Day, has been celebrated every November 11 since 1938 to honor the commitment and sacrifice our Veterans have made for our country and freedoms. The date November 11 was chosen to honor November 11, 1918, which was the official end of World War I.

Many local businesses are taking the opportunity to honor our local vets on Veterans Day by running specials this Friday, November 11. Here are a list of those businesses and the promotions
