Valentine’s Day isn’t until next Wednesday, but there are plenty of ways to treat your sweetheart this weekend, whether it’s a night of live music or a low-key chili face-off. Chocolate Pop-Up Shop
The Fun Factory Sweet Shoppe from Rhinelander returns to their short-term pop-up location in Downtown Marshfield from Saturday, February 10 – Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, they’ll have Hand-dipped Chocolates, Fresh Fudge, Specialty Popcorn, Authentic Gelato (Italian Ice Cream), and Chocolate Covered Strawberries (fresh-dipped each morning).

The downtown bakery will have a variety of treats, including grab ‘n go candy boxes and gift arrangements.

Market on Sixth
Market on Sixth will host a wine tasting on Valentine’s Day from 3-6 p.m. Come out for wine, cheese, and a good time. Chocolate is 20% off all day.

Events

UW Valentine’s Day Concert
The UW-Symphonic Band is putting on their annual Valentine’s Day Concert on Friday, February 9 with a variety of music. The concert will also pay tribute to a departed member.

Kids Crafts at Schalow’s Nursery
Starting at 10am on Saturday, kids can come out to Schalow’s Nursery to make a few crafts. They will get to make a Valentine’s Day Card, decorate a heart ornament, frost cookies, and enjoy refreshments. No registration is required, and the cost per child is $5.

Elvis at Belvedere Supper Club
Belvedere Supper Club is offering a grand buffet, complimentary glass of champagne, and a chocolate fountain from 4-6 p.m on Saturday. Elvis John, award-winning tribute artist, will perform many of Elvis’s love songs and other great hits from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $40 in advance. Live at Libby’s with Hotel Marshfield
On Wednesday, experience live acoustic music at Libby McNeill’s from 5-9 p.m. There will be food and drink specials available for the holiday.

Cutter Rides
Seehafer Farm Creamery is offering 1/2 price cutter rides. The cutter can carry 2-4 Adults and 2 small children. Reserve a day or evening time by calling (715) 384-5152. Rides are weather-permitting and run through the 17th.

Hearts of Fire Chili Contest at the Library
On Valentine’s Day from 6-8 p.m., do something different and have some chili at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library. Bring your best crockpot chili for the judges, or show up and taste the variety.
