UW to Present “It’s A Grand Night For Singing!”

Continuing Education Presents Rodgers & Hammerstein Favorites

Explore love, romance and relationships through the visionary eyes (and ears) of Rodgers and Hammerstein. Continuing Education presents the musical revue “A Grand Night for Singing” at UW-Marshfield/Wood County February 2 & 3 at 7:30 p.m. and February 4 at 2 p.m.

“Come support community theatre at UW-Marshfield/Wood County,” said Rebecca Bauer, Continuing Education Program Specialist. “It’s a great show for a night out with your significant other or best friends.”

The talented cast will present entertaining skits and some of the most beloved songs of popular Broadway hits, including “Oh What a Beautiful Mornin” (from Oklahoma!), “How Do Solve a Problem like Maria” (from The Sound of Music), and “I’m Gonna Wash that Man Right Outa my Hair” (from South Pacific), and many more!

The gifted cast of six (Joelle Clark, Andrea Peterson, Donna Thompson, Brian Clark, Mark Warren, and Andy Wuethrich) along with a gifted orchestra will lead the audience down memory lane with selections from some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most cherished shows.   

The skilled musicians and production team includes: Kathy Biederwolf, Bruce Feldt, Gerritt Rustad, John Mark Peterson, and Beckie Rogers. The show is directed by Anne Warren with assistant director, Crystal Wuethrich.
