Upcoming Halloween Events – Trick-or-Treating, Haunted House, & More

Lawns are decorated, costumes are picked out, candy is stocked up…in other words, Halloween is right around the corner!

Trick-or-treating will take place in Marshfield on Oct. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Three Oaks Health Service is hosting its own trick-or-treating from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Other fun events in Marshfield (and a few outside the area) include:

Oct. 25

Downtown Trick-or-Treating
4 – 5:30 p.m. in Downtown Marshfield. Businesses will hand out candy. South Central Ave. will be closed from Veterans Ave. to 4th Street. City parking lots are located throughout the downtown and can be found via Google Maps. This is a free event.

Oct. 26

Nightmare Forest in Colby (Learn More)
The haunted trail will take place two dates this October at the Colby School Forest with all proceeds staying local to benefit the Colby Hornet Athletic Booster Club and the IDEA Foundation.

Wenzel Family Plaza Fall Fun Day
Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Pumpkin painting, bouncy houses, hot cider and more will get you in a ghoulish mood! Wear a costume for a treat bag to take home!

Boofest at Festival Foods (Learn More)
The event includes the opportunity to trick-or-treat around the store, test out a photo booth, and pose with Boomer the Turkey. For children ages 8 and under. Allergy friendly.

Halloween Party at Nutz Deep II
10 p.m – 2am. Join us for the party on October 26th! Costume contest at Midnight: 1st place $75, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $25. Drink specials.

Oct. 31

Malloween at Marshfield Mall
5-7pm. Trick or Treat from store to store. Play PLINKO for free prizes. Costume contest to be held at 6pm.

Schober Haunted House
The Schober family will be putting on their free haunted house from 5-8 p.m. at the corner of W. 5th Street and Lincoln Avenue (1701 W 5th). Supplies and cash donations for Marshfield Area Pet Shelter will be collected. View last year’s article at this link.

Trunk or Treat at St. Paul’s UCC 
5:30-7:30 p.m. 1310 E. 8th Street. A safe place to come trick or treating on the east side of town! There will be hot chocolate and hot apple cider to warm you up on your trick or treating walk. Hope to see you there.

Pumpkin Run with Hewitt Area Volunteer Fire Department
The 20th Annual Hewitt Area Volunteer Fire Department Pumpkin Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, November 2nd The kids run will start at 9:45am and the 5K will start at 10am. Registration materials are available now!
