“I wouldn’t be here without the customers,” said owner Tiffany Miller, who purchased a fixer-upper once home to Nasonville Cheese & Butter and turned it into the bar it is today.
The party will include a free jukebox, free food, and special raffles. Miller’s parents, Bob & Slyvia Miller, will be special guests. “So many people in town know them when they owned the Budweiser distributor in Marshfield,” she said.
Since starting the bar on Highway 10 three years ago, Miller has made plenty of renovations to the property and recently added a large outdoor space with a fire pit and smoke shack. The bar also began serving its own fish fry and hosts crowds on game days.
“I have a lot of regulars,” she said.
Though proud of how far the business has come, Miller noted that operating a bar is difficult nowadays between the trend of more people choosing to drink at home and the struggle to find employees who are willing to work. There are weeks where she’ll put in 80 hours between tending bar, making homemade cheesecakes, and keeping up with maintenance.
“But I wouldn’t change it,” Miller said. “I enjoy being behind the bar with the customers.”
