Marshfield Mall Event a Fun Time For All Ages.
Don’t want to cover your costume with a coat? Try Trick or Treating indoors at the Marshfield Mall on Oct. 31 from 5-7:30. Kids get to go from store to store, win prizes for costume judging, and play free games.
“We usually have about 400-500 kids,” said events manager Cindy Gosar. “It’s one place where adults are definitely welcome too.”
Costume judging begins at 6 p.m. at the Center Court. Kids of all ages will line up onstage and form a costume parade, with prizes for best costumes. The parade will also happen at 6:30 and 7 p.m.
Back will be the balloon blaster game, where three at a time can blow up large balloons with a pump, the aim being the first to pop it against pointed objects. Prizes are awarded to all participants, the best going to the first-place winner.
“It’s a lot of fun and a lot of noise,” said Gosar, adding that the game is popular with both kids and adults, and it’s a funny sight when parents have to help their little ones pump up the balloon.
“It’s just adorable,” she said. “We all have a lot of fun.”
