North Wood County Park is located just a few miles south of Marshfield and is the perfect place to take a stroll before camping season starts and enjoy the outdoors without traveling far.
The park is located on CTH A on the banks of the Yellow River. Walkers can cross a 225 foot suspension bridge, the park’s coolest attraction, over the river.
While currently closed to vehicle traffic, the park is open to pedestrians. Due to the coronavirus, playgrounds at the park are closed. The Parks & Forestry Department recommends maintaining a distance of at least six from non-household members and washing hands after touching surfaces.
Continue past the main entrance on CTH A and turn right on Richfield Townline Road.
