Family Farm To Host “Santa At The Creamery”
As Seehafer Farm Creamery approaches its third Christmas season, the business is excited to embrace the holidays with activities, seasonal merchandise, and sleigh rides from Santa himself!
Originally a dream of owner Ken Seehafer, the store was a welcome addition to the already well-established family farm, Seehafer Acres. Opened in August 2014, the Creamery specializes in milk bottled directly from the Seehafer family farm and other high-quality products from Wisconsin, including premium Ice Cream, Maple Hill and Hasz Family Farms maple syrup, Prust honey, bakery fresh from JJ’s, specialty crackers, jams, jellies, salsas and relishes, and frozen meats, sausage, pizzas, and more!
“It truly is a family affair,” said Nicole Seehafer, Creamery manager and wife of Jesse Seehafer, and daughter-in-law to owners Ken and Karen Seehafer. “The Creamery, although a relatively new business, is already making a name for itself and becoming a staple in the community.”
This past autumn, the farm hosted a corn maze, horse-drawn wagon rides, and other family-friendly activities. Now, the Creamery is embracing the winter season with a special event scheduled for Saturday, December 10. Beginning at noon, Santa At The Creamery will feature horse-drawn sleigh rides around the farm, face painting, and Christmas cookie decorating. Cost of the event is Kids 5 & under FREE. 6-16 are $2.00 and over 16 is $3.00.
“We hope to serve fresh deep-fried cheese curds and have hot chocolate available in the store for purchase,” said Nicole, adding that they will also have samples throughout the store.
“This is a great opportunity to come and check out the store and all we have to offer or maybe build a gift box,” she said.
Gift boxes are a major selling point for the store at this time of the year, and customers can customize their own box.
“After this event, we will be offering special Saturdays at the Creamery for opportunities to do sleigh rides as well after the holidays,” said Nicole. “Please be sure to watch our Facebook for dates or call the store at 715-384-5152. We want to make these events affordable for everyone and really bring back quality family time.”
