Sampling the New Buck-A-Neer Supper Club

Sneak Peek at the new Buck-A-Neer Supper Club

The Buck-A-Neer Supper Club is back, with new owners Dave and Judy Jasurda, and Gavin Love and Elizabeth Jasurda-Love proud to continue the legacy. Fans of this beloved restaurant will be excited to know that the best parts of the Buck-A-Neer tradition are being carried on, with positive new additions.

Opening to the public on Saturday, September 3, the past few days the restaurant has been gearing up for their grand opening. Explore Marshfield had the privilege of enjoying a sneak peek of the new experience…

Entering the Buck-A-Neer is both familiar and exciting. Though greeted with the same comfortable feel, the inside has undergone a complete transformation- stunning decor with whimsical touches, and beautiful rustic furniture and adornments paying homage to its rural setting.

IMG_4160Enjoy a brandy old-fashioned (and yes, they are still amazing) at the newly renovated bar area before meandering into the comfortable dining area.

Fans of the Buck-A-Neer’s famous cheese curds will be pleased to hear that this mouthwatering appetizer has returned and is just as good as ever, if not better. Featuring fresh Nasonville cheese curds and a side of creamy ranch, elegantly presented in a clean white dish, these are the perfect way to begin any meal.

Menu options include everything from a hand-cut tender Filet Mignon wrapped in honey-IMG_4168smoked bacon to buttery lobster. All meals, in traditional supper club style, include a dinner roll, soup or salad bar, and choice of potato (try the Roasted Garlic Rosemary Potato).

Tables are adorned with real linen tablecloths which are changed between guests- a nice touch.

Featuring a cozy farmhouse feel, the Buck-A-Neer balances a relaxing atmosphere with an upscale dining experience. Supper Clubs are a dying breed in Wisconsin, but thanks to the Buck-A-Neer, this culinary tradition will continue.
