Maple Fall Fest marks the perfect time to usher in fall, especially when there’s food involved.
“Wisconsinites are beginning to accept that summer is over and seek out the tastes and smells that showcase fall,” said Matt Colby, Assistant Store Director, Festival Foods.
For a sampling of fall flavor, stop by the Festival Food booth for pumpkin spice doughnuts with maple syrup, pumpkin spice brats, and fall salads including pumpkin fluff, pumpkin pie snack mix, maple pecan cranberry snack mix, and pumpkin bread pudding.
Grilled pumpkin spice brats will also be available for sale — but if you’re curious or skeptical, try a sample with or without maple syrup.
“Pumpkin spice brats are one of those wonderful fall tastes,” said Colby. “A little maple syrup poured over the brat is even better. The sweetness of the maple syrup perfectly complements the salty-spice of the brat.”
For traditional brat and sauerkraut fans, the pumpkin spice brat is a great flavor pairing this time of year, or anytime. “We are available to produce the pumpkin spice brat year round. However, it’s especially popular this time of year,” he said.
Guests can sign up for a drawing for a large turkey dinner ($99.99 value). Simply text “Marshfield” to 78402.
Festival Foods will be set up Sept. 14 and 15 at Wildwood Park during the festivities.
