Sacred Heart church will hold a breakfast buffet at the Marshfield Eagles Club on Sunday, Oct. 27. from 8-noon.
Proceeds from the breakfast benefit the Parish Hall Building Fund. A 6,000 square foot building will eventually be constructed on the former site of the Sacred Heart Catholic School, which finished demolition this spring.
Once completed, the red brick facility will be able to accommodate about 200 people and host activities such as religious education classes, parish meetings, funerals, and meals.
The event includes a sweepstakes drawing, raffle baskets, and a bake sale. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Contents of the 1916 time capsule will also be on display (Click to read more). The cost is $8.50 for adults, $4.50 for children ages 4-12, and free for ages 3 and under.
