Rib-lovers will enjoy the inaugural Ribs & Riffs this Saturday on March 10 at The Rivers restaurant by Holiday Inn.
Beginning at 1 p.m., rib connoisseurs can sample the results of grillers who are competing for the grand prize of $1,000 and a traveling trophy, with cash prizes awarded also to 2nd and 3rd place contestants. Tasters will also enjoy unlimited sides, a Bloody Mary bar, and beer tasting.
After the winners are announced at 4 p.m., a musical performance by Greenbury Luck will commence in the Holiday Inn ballroom at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here. The event benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a genetic lung disorder that affects 30,000 people in the U.S., to support furthering research and treatment of the chronic disease.
